Modern Prodigal
Author: Pastor Mitch Williams

This Sabbath we are privileged to hear the testimony of a 20-year-old whose reckless living almost cost him his life on multiple occasions. Ironically, he did end up dying the death Jesus calls all of His followers to experience.
Even though Westin Mendoza grew up in the church and in a quality Christian home, something was missing. As it turns out, the influences outside of the home were greater than his Godly upbringing. Friends with different values began to lead Westin astray. As a teen, he became a prodigal son. Eventually he hit rock bottom in a horrific car crash. Fortunately, he had family and friends praying for him that eventually led to a real turnaround. Westin’s story is nothing short of a miracle, but you have to hear it to believe it!
I hope you can join us this Sabbath as you see the power of the living Christ working in a young person’s life and through our own church family! I know you will be blessed and encouraged! We serve a powerful God!
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6
