Spiritual Resolution

New Year's resolutions have begun this week, but have you already broken yours? The vast majority do, leaving most of us not taking them very seriously. But what if 2019 was the year your resolution stuck?

When you think about it, a resolution is nothing more than a determined commitment to begin or stop doing something, in your own strength. But what if this year, you (and I) made the firm commitment to make Jesus our most important daily connection? But we did so with the help of God? A spiritual resolution is an act of faith since we may not get instant "likes" and "followers" for our time with Jesus. By faith, if we exercise our decision to spend time with the Supernatural, He gives us the strength and desire to fulfill that commitment!

So, in 2019, before Facebook, God's Book. Before Snapchat, God chat.

"The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favorite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than a whole Bible can make a whole Christian." A. W. Tozer

In order to make your time with Jesus fulfilling and powerful, consider following one of the Bible reading plans in the link below:

May the Lord bless you as by faith you eat the Bread of Life each and every morning. Praying 2019 will be a year of spiritual growth for you and our church family.

Blessings!
