This Sabbath, our virtual church service honors alumni from Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy. Guest speaker Pastor Ron Torkelsen will deliver the sermon entitled: Growing Up Adventist

Pastor Ron’s sermon teaser is as follows: “I am a fourth generation Adventist. I attended the Adventist church and Adventist schools all my life. I was employed by the Seventh-day Adventist church. My entire life has been Adventist. Have I been advantaged or disadvantaged? How about you?”

Pastor Ron has deep roots with our particular church and school and is loved by many. He taught Bible class to the high school in the early 1980s and then returned as an Associate Pastor and Bible teacher in the early 2000s. His love for Jesus is evident to all who know him.
