Watch List
Author: Pastor Mitch Williams
July 23, 2020
You may have heard Governor Newsom’s announcement that churches and schools are to remain closed until their county falls off the state’s “watch list.” Being on the watch list means your county has over 100 new cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 people in a given day for multiple days. Contra Costa falls into that category and so churches and schools are to remain closed.
The good news is that when our county goes 14 consecutive days with less than 100 new daily cases, we fall off the watch list and can reopen our school and church. As our society comes to fully accept the use of masks, sanitizers and social distancing while in public, the spread of COVID-19 is expected to drop once again.
In the meantime, we will continue to prepare the church and school for an eventual reopening. All are invited to help with our school "Work Bee" this Sunday at 8:30 AM.
Please watch this 60 second video from our school principal, Dr. Paulson.

Please pray the Lord mitigate the pandemic spread and deliver an ultimate solution. And may the Lord bless you and your family as you rest in His care during the summer season.
