Winter Church

It’s hard to believe that we have been offering outdoor church for
approximately three months. For those of you who have physically
attended The Hill, it has been a real blessing to reconnect with church
members, meet new people, and enjoy baptisms again.
But
now that we are entering a colder season, some are asking, “Will you
continue offering outdoor church during the winter months?”
Earlier
this week, your church board met to address that very question. It was
determined that we will continue to offer outdoor church throughout the
winter months and into the spring season, in light of the pandemic. If
it rains, church will not meet outdoors and will only be live-streamed
that particular Sabbath.
We are blessed to
live in area with a mild climate in the winter months. Although the
average temperatures in the winter falls to the mid-50s, that is very
bearable with a warm coat. So we encourage you to come and worship at
The Hill in person, and bring your coat, and blanket if you want!
Because there is something powerful that takes place when God’s people
physically come together to worship Him.
I will praise You in the great congregation; I will exalt You among many people. Psalms 35:18
Blessings!
