REVIVE OUTREACH!

10 years ago, Gertie Warnick, Director of our Food Pantry Ministry, dreamed of bringing showers to the unsheltered community. Today, with over 400 people receiving food on a monthly basis, a portion of those individuals actually live in their cars. When you live in your car, you need a place to shower. 

The Lord has seen fit to raise the funds needed to purchase our very own Shower Trailer! Our new Shower Trailer has four full bathrooms and can accommodate four individuals taking showers simultaneously. 

On Sabbath, April 6, at 3 PM, we launch this new ministry called “Revive Outreach.” Revive Outreach will operate from our front parking lot, offering individuals showers, clothing, toiletries, and prayer. If you are interested in participating as a volunteer (youth and adults), please contact the church office or let one of the pastors know. We will be offering training as well. 

In the meantime, the Food Pantry will be getting the word out to those who receive food to come on April 6 for a shower!

The Lord Jesus has told us to visit people in prison, feed the hungry, clothe the ragged, and give water to the thirsty. Providing a shower is in the spirit of looking after our less fortunate neighbors and providing them with the dignity to clean up. We trust that each person who receives a shower will not only be revived physically, but revived spiritually, as they experience the love of Jesus in a tangible way.
