High Sabbath!

It’s hard to believe, but exactly six years ago this month, Pastor
Miguel began as our Youth Pastor for The Hill. In those six years,
Pastor Miguel has served in many ways, baptizing countless youth,
leading praise music, overseeing our AV expansion to live-stream,
overseeing all youth ministries, teaching Bible classes at PHAA, and the
list goes on and on. Pastor Miguel is a hard-working, sacrificial and
tender-hearted minister of the gospel. We have been incredibly blessed
to call him one of our pastors. And I’m personally blessed to call him a
close friend.
This
Sabbath, at 5 PM, Pastor Miguel will be officially ordained as a
minister of the SDA church. He has recently completed a master’s degree
from Andrews University Theological Seminary, and has exceeded the many
other requirements to be considered eligible as a candidate for
ordination. Most of all, Pastor Miguel’s personal walk with Jesus
demonstrates a fruitful ministry. This Sabbath, the holy call by God
placed upon Pastor Miguel will be confirmed. All are invited to gather,
support and pray for the man God has called to continue to carry out a
great responsibility.
We
also have a special worship service planned for this Sabbath. Jaime
Keil, 15 has given her heart to Jesus and will be baptized by Pastor
Miguel. In addition, baby Noah Verazas, will be dedicated to the Lord.
Our sermon, entitled, "The Secret", will be presented by Pastor Miguel.
After the service, we will host a grand potluck. Please bring something
to share.
