Celebrating Youth!

For approximately 70 years, Pathfinder Clubs all over the world have helped young people develop practical skills, enjoy outdoor activities, make new friends and most of all, learn more about Jesus. You may not know it, but our church has a Pathfinder Club with over 30 young people ages 10 to 17. Our Pathfinder Director, Willard Ranney, leads a team of adult volunteers who help make Pathfinders a thriving youth ministry. As the Pathfinder year comes to a close, it is altogether fitting to acknowledge their accomplishments and plans for the future.
This Sabbath, our Pathfinder Club will lead our worship service. The Pathfinder youth will participate at every level of the worship service – including prayer, children’s story, praise music, and sermonettes.
Our sermonic messages will be presented by five Pathfinder’s. They are: Blake Peterson, Walter Marpaung, Leah Gomez, Elijah Menefee, and Nicky Alvarado. I am excited to listen to these young people as they proclaim their love and understanding of Jesus.
The next generation of Christ worshipers and leaders will be in charge this Sabbath. May we come and support the youth as we bring our praises and worship to our Lord!
