Experiencing God!

Many years ago, while attending Andrews University Theological Seminary, I became friends with one of the professors, Dr. Joseph Kidder. He initially studied to be an engineer, but after becoming a Christian, he felt the call to be a pastor and eventually a professor. Dr. Kidder taught on the subject of how to have an intimate relationship with Jesus. It was one of my favorite classes in my nearly three years at the seminary.
Since those days at the Seminary, Dr. Kidder has become a mentor to me. He has also authored many books on the topic of spiritual growth, and we are privileged to have him as our guest speaker this weekend.
The theme for this weekend is “Experiencing God.” You won’t want to miss a single presentation, beginning this Friday at 7 PM. Also, please note that we have scheduled Dr. Kidder to give a presentation at 10 AM in lieu of our regular adult Sabbath School classes. After potluck lunch, Dr. Kidder will share his powerful and riveting conversion story!

Friday, January 19
7:00 PM — Experiencing God through Prayer
Sabbath, January 20
10 AM – Experiencing God through touching Lives (All Adult Classes)
11:15 AM – Experiencing God through releasing His power
1:00 PM – Potluck Lunch
2:15 PM – Escape from Iraq
