Outreach Sabbath!

Our annual Pathfinder Food Drive happens this Sabbath! Your donated food will help resupply the inventory of our Food Pantry (Adventist Community Services), where we provide food to over 400 individuals each month. The demands for food has increased 100% in the past few years. This Sabbath, please remember to bring your donated bag(s) of non-perishable food to the church lobby.
Donated items can include canned food, dry pasta, cereal, juice, baby food and/or gift cards to purchase food. Please check the expiration dates to ensure all food is fresh. All donations will be used exclusively by the Food Pantry for our local community.
This Sabbath, we will also be going out into the community to collect bags of food left on the door steps of our generous citizens throughout Pleasant Hill. Bags were distributed door to door by our Pathfinder Club last Sabbath for pick up this Sabbath.
Although this is a Pathfinder sponsored Food Drive, we need volunteers of all ages to help collect, sort, organize and box the food to store in the Food Pantry. If you are able, please join the effort to volunteer this Sabbath afternoon beginning at 1:30 PM.
