Back to School!

It’s
hard to believe that we are entering back into the season of school.
This week, Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy (PHAA) began classes with its
highest enrollment in many years. Under the leadership of our new
principal, Dr. Philip Williams, the Lord has brought a flood of new
Christ-centered teachers. PHAA has also expanded the number of faculty
members to accommodate not only more students but a greater volume of
classes, particularly in high school.
Our PHAA faculty line-up is as follows:
Kindergarten – Esther Melgar
1st & 2nd Grade – Rob Robinson
3rd & 4th Grade – Carl John De Pano & Rick Spaulding
5th & 6th Grade – Rick Maloon
7th & 8th Grade – Tiffany Watkins
Chaplaincy & Bible – Pastor Miguel
Math & Science – Cheryl Williams
PE & Science – Tu Bui
History & Health – Katherine Spaulding
English – Bonnie Gottke
Music – Maricel Ebora
Spanish – Jess Montellano
This
Sabbath we plan to dedicate the new school year to the Lord. We will
dedicate PHAA faculty and families, as well as students attending other
schools this fall. We want the Lord to bless each student as they grow
not just academically, but spiritually.
We
also want to invite everyone to our special concert on Sunday at 6 PM.
The group “Committed” will be at our church to perform a sacred concert.
Committed is an a cappella singing group comprised of five young men
who love the Lord and want to share their gift for music for His glory.
