Remembering Back

This Sabbath, we have two important events that take our minds back:

Communion Service:
This Sabbath, we remember the power of the blood that Jesus shed for us at Calvary. Please come to church ready to worship the One who bought you for the ultimate price and offers eternal life. Come with a heart that is seeking reconciliation with those who have wronged you, and you have wronged. Remember, the Lord forgives those who forgive others. Let us come to the Lord’s House this Sabbath to partake in the greatest meal of all time with those sacred emblems. May we enter the metaphoric Upper Room and recall the greatest act of love ever bestowed upon humanity.

Memorial Service:
This Sabbath, at 4 PM, we remember our friend Richard Roderick. As we celebrate Elder Roderick’s life, we will recall a life well lived, as a husband, father, friend, and servant of Jesus. For 48 years, Elder Roderick served as treasurer for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in various capacities. He also served as a missionary with his wife before moving in 1976 to Pleasant Hill, where he and Althea raised their beautiful family.

I hope you can bring your love and presence to both of these important and special events on Sabbath!
