Alumni Sabbath!

Alumni Sabbath!

Author: Pastor Mitch Williams
April 12, 2024

Since 1952, Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy (PHAA) has been serving the East Bay, providing Adventist Christian education to generations of families. PHAA has provided students (K-12) not only with a strong academic foundation, but much more importantly, a Christ-centered environment where they will meet Jesus.

This Sabbath, PHAA alumni and graduates are invited back to attend church and fellowship together. Pastor Loren Yutuc will be our guest speaker this Sabbath. Pastor Yutuc is a product of Adventist education and was a student at PHAA, attended Pacific Union College, and went on to graduate from Andrews University Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Yutuc has entitled his sermon “The Dash.” His sermon teaser is as follows: “The dash may represent stories of failure, money misspent, an impossible mortgage, or an unhappy marriage. It may also represent stories of success, degrees earned, good health, and a great job. God’s story and our stories are held within the dash.”

The Graduating Classes of 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 will be honored during our service. We will also be graced by the PHAA Choir and the PH Youth Worship music team. I hope to see you this Sabbath!
