Footsteps Of Paul

This Sabbath, the Bible comes to life as we go back two millenniums to another continent and another world. Just over 30 days ago, Pastor Miguel and I returned from an epic trip to Turkey and Greece. We were privileged to visit the cities where the Gospel was first preached, where Christians were first baptized, and where the very first churches were planted outside of Jerusalem.

This Sabbath, we begin a new spring sermon series entitled: Footsteps of Paul. In this series, we join the Apostle Paul in the cities and places we have only heard about but know little about. This series will help us better understand the social and cultural context of Paul’s effort to introduce Jesus. We will come to see the deceptions of a paganism in contrast to the power of Christianity. We will see how Paul’s inspired letters (Biblical Epistle’s) spoke accountability then and still speak relevant truth in our time. Most of all, I pray our journey to Turkey and Greece will not just bring you face-to-face with Biblical archaeology but heart-to-heart with Jesus, who is ever seeking to save in all generations.

Join us this week for our first sermon entitled: Footsteps of Paul in Philippi. Who would have thought that Paul’s first two baptisms would be an entrepreneur and a prison warden. Hope to see you this Sabbath!
