Goodbye Elder Roderick

For over 45 years, Dick and Althea Roderick have been faithful members of The Hill. Year after year, you would find them at church, in their pew, upfront, on the right-hand side. But a few weeks ago, Dick was not at church. A few of us went to visit the Roderick’s that same Sabbath afternoon. We read some scriptures and shared some memories. We didn’t realize, it would be our last visit with Dick.
On Monday, June 18, the former missionary and Northern California Conference treasurer, Richard Roderick, went to sleep in Jesus. His memorial service will be held at the church on Sabbath, July 8, at 4 PM, followed by refreshments. Please come and support the Roderick family as we bid goodbye for now to our fellow church member, friend, and servant of God.
