Celebrating Christ!

This Saturday, your church will host two special events for your family and friends. Here’s the line-up:
Tad Worku Concert – 6:30 PM
After graduating from college in Northern California, Tad Worku was offered a pop contract by a record label, offering to fund his tour and propel him to the next step toward a career in the music industry. He was surrounded by award-winning musicians and producers who created hits for Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, and more. But the contract came with conditions: he could not write about politics or religion. Worku, a Seventh-day Adventist, had to decide between fame and faith. His convictions led him to cancel his contract and give his career 100% to Jesus. Worku remembered what Jesus had taught: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”
This Sabbath, during the worship service, Tad Worku will share a portion of his testimony and provide a special music. Later, in the evening, at 6:30 PM, Worku will give a concert, giving glory to God through his musical talents and testimony. I hope you can come and bring a friend to be blessed!
Family Movie Night
Immediately following the Tad Worku concert, as the Sabbath closes, your church will host a family movie night. Pizza, popcorn, and baked goods will be available for those hungry and ready to eat. (All proceeds will go to the Sophomore Class at Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy). The movie will begin around 8:30 PM. The movie is called: Strong Fathers Strong Daughters. Bring your family and friends for a night of food, fellowship, and quality Christian entertainment.
