God is Good!

The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7
This scripture summarizes the theme of this week’s VBS – “Life is wild, but God is good!” Even though life is filled with difficulties, uncertainties, pain, and chaos, God is always present and He sits on His throne. The Lord is unchangeable, completely trustworthy and good through every aspect of life.
As Pastor Miguel and I were planning this week’s VBS-driven worship service for this Sabbath, the Lord brought to our attention a woman who has lived this year’s VBS theme! Her name is Kim Hill, and she will be a presenting her incredible testimony this Sabbath. Trust me, you won’t want to miss her God stories, struggles, disappointments and victories in the name of Jesus! Spoiler alert, Kim was not supposed to still be alive, but she is thriving! You are sure to be encouraged and inspired by her spiritual journey!
In addition, Caleb De Gracia will share his testimony and follow in the footsteps of Jesus by being baptized this Sabbath. This young man is one in a million, and his young love for Jesus is astounding. If you can, come and show your support and love as we celebrate Caleb’s baptism!
