Ministry Engagement

Last Sabbath we were reminded that a healthy church cannot function effectively with only a few persons doing the work of ministry. Not even Peter, along with the other apostles, could keep up with the demands of the Acts church. There came a time to delegate and empower the members to fulfill the mission of the church.

Likewise with Moses, who worked from sunup to sundown, presiding over the Nation of Israel, was wearing himself out according to his father-in-law. As a result, Jethro counseled Moses to delegate and empower others to share with him in the work of ministry.

In the spirit of following the Acts church model, we are all invited to share in the blessing of serving in church ministry. The church is likened to the body, where every body part is essential and working in harmony. Although it may appear that The Hill is running smoothly with all it’s various ministries, there are in fact many areas of need!

If you are not currently serving at church and/or want to reengage in a new ministry, please take a few seconds to complete the Ministry Engagement form. Click here

Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive. When we give our talents and giftedness for the cause of the Gospel, there is no greater purpose on earth!

"As each one has received the gift, minister the same to one another, as good ministers of the manifold grace of God."
1 Peter 4:10
