Since March 6th, Pastor Miguel and I, along with 90 other pastors and their spouses, have been visiting the many Biblical sites found in the countries of Turkey and Greece. Most notably, we toured the seven churches of Revelation, including Ephesus and Laodicea. We also visited Thessalonica, Philippi, Athens, and Corinth. Each of these cities are not only distinctly mentioned in the book of Acts, but the Apostle Paul established churches there.

As we surveyed each ancient city with our tour guide and Biblical scholar, Dr. Ranko Stefanovic, we became even more intimately aware of the particular struggles of these first-century churches. The archeological ruins and cultural background gave witness to the prolific pagan temples that littered each city. The power of secularism, pleasure-seeking, sexual immorality, and persecutions were the devil's tools to fight against the infant church of Christ. But thanks to the power of God and His grace, the church prevailed!

We pastors look forward to bringing back not only interesting facts and images of our travels, but most importantly, the vital spiritual truths about Jesus and His church that were so essential then, and equally imperative for us in 2023!

May the Lord Jesus continue to guard, guide and bless you as you continue to grow as His active and faithful disciple.

"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." Philippians 1:6
