Ready to Meet!

Earlier this week, the Sanctuary Renovation Committee, led by Dr. Art West, met with Yelena Shevchenko to review her design and color recommendations for the church sanctuary. She presented the committee with her vision of taking our church decor from 1987 (last renovation) to beyond the second decade of the 21st century. A clean and modern look was presented. The committee listened to her rationale and examined the various samples of fabric, carpet, wood, color, and design renderings. Indeed, we were extremely pleased with what was presented!
Therefore, we are ready to hold our final business meeting regarding the sanctuary remodel on Monday, April 8, at 7 PM. Yelena will be present to discuss the various design features and elements of the sanctuary remodel. Digital 3-D renderings of the new stage enhancements, along with views of the proposed sanctuary pews, carpet, wall colors, window replacements, and new light fixtures, will be presented.
From a financial standpoint, over $190,000, of the $200,000 pledge drive has been collected. Praise the Lord!
Please pray we remain united in purpose, and together in our hearts, as we seek to complete the task of renovating the place we worship and call our church home.
