Food Drive!

Have you ever wanted to make a tangible difference for the betterment of your community? This Sabbath is your opportunity! For over 20 years, the Pleasant Hill SDA church, working in conjunction with our Pathfinder Club, has collected thousands of foods items from around our community.
Last Sabbath, empty paper sack bags were dropped off door to door with instructions to fill the bag with food items and leave it on their front porch. On Sabbath, we gather those bags and bring them to the church.
We would appreciate you bringing your own filled bag that you received after church last week.
This Sabbath, we need volunteers such as you to help sort, categorize, and box the food items that will then be given to our Adventist Community Service Center. Those same foods items will be distributed throughout the ensuing 12 months to hungry and homeless individuals who live in our area.
Please plan to come to the church courtyard around 2 PM and volunteer a little of your time. All ages are welcome to come and serve. You will be blessed!
And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. Hebrews 13:16
