10 Days of Prayer

In the Bible the number ten often marks a God-appointed period of testing, preparation, or decisive action. In the Old Testament, God sent the Ten Plagues upon Egypt as a demonstration of His power and judgment before deliverance. God gave the Ten Commandments as a complete moral foundation for life. Daniel and his friends were tested for ten days and were found faithful and blessed by God.
In the New Testament, after Jesus ascended to heaven, the disciples spent ten days in the Upper Room. During those 10 days, God unified, humbled, and prepared His first church for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. In the book of Revelation, there is a period of ten days of tribulation (Revelation 2:10), symbolizing a limited but purposeful season of testing. Together, these references show that in the Bible, ten signifies significance under God’s control, enough time for faith to be revealed and for God’s purpose to be fulfilled.
Beginning last night, our church launched our annual 10 Days of Prayer. Everyone is invited to participate in this faith-building experience. Each evening, we gather for one hour of focused prayer, inviting the Holy Spirit to guide and lead our time together. By setting aside this intentional time each night, we are asking the Lord to lead us, prepare us, and grow us as He directs our church into action in 2026.
In these uncertain and turbulent times—marked by wars and rumors of wars—there is no better place to be than the Upper Room. Join us each evening at 7:00 PM in the Youth Chapel as we come together in unity, seeking God’s presence and power in the name of Jesus Christ.
"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting."
Acts 2:1-2
