How is your mental health? Almost everyone experiences occasional bouts of sadness or varying degrees of anxiety. But recent studies are showing a greater percentage of people, young and old, feeling overwhelmed, persistently down, anxious and emotionally unstable. Whether it is the consequences of the pandemic or the overall demands of life, mental health is suffering.
In just a few Sabbaths, Dr. Daniel Binus will be the guest speaker at our Leoni Meadows Church Retreat. Dr. Binus earned his medical degree in psychiatry from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He has many years of experience in mental health treatment. Dr. Binus will be giving three powerful presentations (for adults and kids) you will not want to miss, about how to have a healthy and resilient mind!
Here’s the schedule for our Leoni Meadows Church Retreat:
September 13
Friday Vespers – 7:30 PM – Dr. Binus
September 14
Sabbath School – 10:00 AM – Dr. Binus
Worship Service – 11:15 AM – Dr. Binus
On Sabbath afternoon, we will enjoy hiking, ziplines, train rides, hay rides, and other opportunities to fellowship together in God’s creation! After Sabbath, we will play games, eat, serve ice cream and drive go-carts on the track.
Friday evening dinner will be served at 6 PM. Please come early enough so you can be at the camp in time to get settled into your room and ready for dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the Camp cafeteria on Sabbath. The retreat concludes on Sunday morning after breakfast.
Nearly 160 people have already signed up and reserved their rooms and meals. We do have a few more rooms left in the lodge. If you have not yet reserved your spot, please register now by clicking below:
