Blooms of Grace

If you’re like me, you’ve noticed two unmistakable signs of the season… your allergies have arrived and so has spring!

Each year, God’s creative and majestic hand is on full display as our eyes catch the blooms of flowers, the budding of trees, and the vibrant green carpets of fresh grass. All of it reminds us that what once appeared dead and dormant has, in fact, come to life again.

The same is true in our spiritual lives. There was a time when we were spiritually dead, living apart from Jesus and going our own way. But when we surrendered our failures, our faults, and our fears to Him, He did something new within us. He brought us from death to life—from what was fading and broken into a life that is full and abundant in Him.

This Sabbath, we gather to celebrate the greatest gift we could ever receive, not just life, but eternal life. As we reflect on the final meal Jesus shared with His disciples, we are reminded of His final lessons—timeless truths that still speak powerfully to us today.

This Sabbath, we remember that our best life is not here, but in a place Jesus is preparing for us. And we rejoice in the abundant forgiveness and new life He offers, His blooms of grace!

I hope to see you on Sabbath!
