Food Drive 2025

As the unprecedented government shutdown continues, many families in our community are facing serious challenges. With government-supported food benefits running low, the need for assistance has grown significantly.
Before the shutdown, our ACS Food Pantry served more than 500 families each month. With current conditions, we expect this number to rise in the months ahead.
You may wonder, “Where does the Food Pantry get its supplies?” One of our most important sources is our annual Food Drive—and that time has come once again! Each year, we invite both our church family and our wider community to help stock the "Food Pantry" for the coming year.
We invite you to prayerfully consider sharing a portion from your own pantry or purchasing extra items during your next grocery trip.
Please donate only unexpired items.
Accepted Donations:
Canned foods
Dry pasta
Cereal
Juice
Baby food
Gift cards for food purchases
Please note: We are unable to accept fresh fruits or vegetables, as we do not have the storage capacity to keep them refrigerated.
Please bring your bag(s) of food to the church lobby this Sabbath, November 8.
You can also support our Pathfinder Club as they go door-to-door this Sabbath to collect donations from our neighbors. (Last week, flyers were distributed to hundreds of homes inviting their participation.)
Scripture reminds us that “to whom much is given, much is required.” In this season of Thanksgiving, may we respond with open hearts and generous hands, sharing from our abundance with those who have little.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and support. Truly, the Lord loves a cheerful giver!
“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.”
— Proverbs 22:9
