Life Transitions

As another school year comes to a close, it is a reminder that life is full of transitions. We move from childhood to the teenage years, from home to college, from being single to marriage, from parenthood to an empty nest, and from working life to retirement. Life is filled with transitions, and in each one we are reminded that life is finite.
When it comes to our walk with Jesus, we are also called to grow through transitions. When we first come to Christ in baptism, we are infants in Christ. Yet as we walk with Him, we grow and mature in our faith.
As we face hardships, disappointments and loss, we face those hurdles with our Lord. God helps us move through the seasons of life in ways that shape us into mature followers of Christ.
May every transition in our lives bring us greater growth and deeper maturity, leading one day to the ultimate transition to heaven!
