Next Gen Worship!

The Bible reminds us that “a little child shall lead them” (Isaiah 11:6), and this Sabbath, we will have the joy of seeing that promise lived out right before us.

We are excited to welcome the Middle School students from Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy as they lead our entire worship service. These young disciples are not just participating; they are guiding us into the presence of God. Through heartfelt praise music, a meaningful children’s story, special music, and even the preaching of the Word, they will help lead our congregation to the throne room of heaven in a Spirit-filled time of worship.

There is something powerful about seeing faith through the eyes of a child. Their sincerity, courage, and simple trust in God often remind us of what truly matters; Jesus Himself said that unless we become like little children, we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3).

Perhaps you’ll see a glimpse of your own spiritual journey in these young leaders, the first time you sang with joy, prayed with boldness, or trusted God without hesitation. Or maybe their example will gently call you back to that place again.

Let’s come together as a church family, encouraging, supporting, and celebrating what God is doing in the next generation. And as we lift our hearts in worship to our King, may each of us leave renewed, uplifted, and drawn closer to Him.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
 1 Timothy 4:12
