The Inviting Church

One of the greatest privileges—and responsibilities—we share as members of God’s church is to invite others to experience Jesus for themselves. This month, we’re excited to offer two special outreach events where you can participate and invite your friends and family to come along. Here’s what’s coming up:
Vacation Bible School – Starts this Monday, June 16, at 9:00 AM sharp! We already have nearly 100 students registered, but there’s still plenty of room to invite more. Bring your neighbors’ kids, your coworkers’ kids, or anyone else God places on your heart to invite!
This year’s theme is “True North,” where kids will embark on a camping adventure to discover how Jesus can guide them on life’s journey. Don’t miss this opportunity to share Jesus’ love with the next generation!

Healthy Cooking Class – Begins Sunday, June 22, at 10:30 AM! Bring a friend and join us for a fun and interactive workshop where you’ll learn how to make healthy, great-tasting vegan desserts. Since our bodies are the temple of God, why not learn how to nourish them while still delighting your taste buds?
Our instructor, Colette Williams, is a Business senior at Southern Adventist University and the owner of “Colette’s Creations,” a vegan dessert business she has successfully operated for the past six years. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover her secret recipes and learn how to make desserts that are both delicious and good for you!
So far, approximately 20 people have registered—don’t miss your chance to join them!

Speaking of outreach, this Sabbath we will be blessed to witness the baptism of Shane Sanders, son of Ryan and Cassie (and brother of Sienna)! Shane, 13, will share his love for Jesus and explain why he has decided to give his life to Him. His journey began two years ago when he started attending PHAA and became friends with other Christ-centered students. We hope you can support Shane and his family during this special Sabbath!
We will also have a potluck lunch to celebrate Shane’s new birth in Christ!
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
— Matthew 28:19–20
