Two New Births!

This Sabbath, the Lord will bring two more to the waters of
baptism. Elijah and Emmanuel Menefee, adolescent brothers, have studied
the Bible, prepared their hearts, and are ready to proclaim to the world
their love for Jesus! You are especially invited to join the Heavenly
Host as witnesses of these two new births!
Praise the Lord, we currently have approximately 20 other individuals in preparation for baptism for later this year!
As
you may heard, your church is also getting ready to host a mini
evangelistic series April 2-10. Our speaker, Pastor Jose Marin, will
present the gospel on consecutive evenings beginning Friday, April 2, at
7 PM. Please save the date and pray for a successful series!
In
the meantime, if you haven’t yet begun, please pray for 3 to 5 people
in your life who have yet to commit their lives to Jesus. It may be a
family member, coworker, neighbor, or friend. Each of us has a circle of
influence that includes people that the Lord has put in our path to
present the Good News of Jesus! These are individuals you will want to
build a deeper friendship with and ask the Holy Spirit to guide your
conversations as He sees fit. Ask for His courage to be His light.
In
praying for individuals on my prayer list, the Lord has been moving
upon those relationships and leading us to amazing conversations and
spiritual development. See what the Lord has in store for you and your
relationships, because Jesus is coming soon!
“You
are the salt of the earth . . . “You are the light of the world—like a
city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then
puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it
gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:13-15
