Celebrations & Farewells

This Sabbath we celebrate a new member and say goodbye to others.
First, we rejoice over the baptism of Michael, son of Ken and Gilda
Kreider. Michael, who is just finishing the 4th grade at Pleasant Hill
Adventist Academy, has been studying the Bible with Pastor Miguel for
the past two years! Thanks for showing your love and support this
Sabbath!
On Sabbath we also
say goodbye to our dear friends, Tony & Nana Stamos, who are moving
to Texas. As faithful members for the past 9 years, this couple has made
quite an impact upon our church. Most recently, Nana has served as our
Head Deaconess and Sabbath School co-teacher for the Collegiate class.
And Tony has been serving as our Head over Audio/Visual, both when we
were meeting outdoors as a church and as we transitioned back indoors.
For those of you who have gotten to know Tony & Nana, you can sense
their love for Jesus in how they serve and treat others. I will miss
them greatly!
We are
planning a potluck this Sabbath to celebrate Michael’s baptism and offer
an opportunity for final goodbyes to Tony and Nana. Please bring cards
and hugs as we share this special Sabbath day together.
We are the family of God! Look forward to seeing you this Sabbath!
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Romans 12:5
Blessings!
