I trust you are enjoying a wonderful summer with your family and friends.
Just
to keep you in the loop, many exciting developments are taking place at
Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy (PHAA)! We have hired a new principal,
Dr. Philip Williams, and he and his wife (Cheryl) will be here next week
to meet families and help answer questions. Please put it on your
calendar to meet the new principal next Tuesday, July 12, at 6 PM
(Elementary families) and 7 PM (High School families), at the school.
Incidentally, the new school year begins August 16.
I
also am pleased to report we are expanding the number of faculty
members from last year due to our expected increase in enrollment. We
are also hiring more teachers to provide a greater educational
experience for our students in the 2022/23 school year.
As
we prepare for the coming new school year, the PHAA school board and
faculty invite you to join a conversation about the future and the new
school year. Six (6) task force teams plan to meet one or two times this
summer to talk about a range of topics to advance the mission at PHAA.
