Season of Milestones

We have entered the season when tassels will be moved from the
right to the left. Just last Saturday evening, our own Pastor Miguel
Verazas attended a virtual graduation through Andrews University
Theological Seminary where he officially graduated with a master's
degree in Pastoral Ministry. Congratulations Pastor Miguel!
Indeed
we are entering the season of milestones when it comes to graduations!
The time is rapidly approaching when students will be graduating from
Kindergarten, 8th grade, high school, college, and graduate school.
Perhaps you’ve already received a graduation announcement. This is an
exciting time for our young people who have made an academic achievement
and are eager for the next stage of their lives.
If
you receive an invitation to a graduation, perhaps take the time to
write a spiritual note of encouragement to the graduate. Many of our
graduates are leaving home and going to college. Your parting words to
them will be cherished and reread.
May the Lord
bless our community of faith as we celebrate the academic
accomplishments taking place in the lives of our young people!
Don't
let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in
purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
